MeetBrief AI Privacy Policy

MeetBrief AI is a meeting notes app that helps users turn short meeting recordings or pasted transcripts into summaries, action items, decisions and follow-ups.

Information we process

• Audio recordings submitted by the user
• Pasted transcript text submitted by the user
• Generated summaries, action items, decisions and follow-ups
• Basic technical/error information used to diagnose app issues

What is sent, and to whom

Audio recordings and pasted transcript text are submitted by the user. This data is sent to 786 Infinite Ltd’s backend so it can be processed and turned into a meeting brief.

• The backend uses OpenAI to transcribe and summarise the meeting content.
• The backend is hosted by Vercel.
• Technical error monitoring is provided by Sentry.
• Rate limiting and abuse prevention may use Upstash Redis.

This data is used only to provide app functionality, security, abuse prevention, support and diagnostics. It is not used for unrelated purposes.

User consent before AI processing

Before MeetBrief AI sends audio recordings or pasted transcript text for AI processing, the app explains what data will be sent, who it will be sent to, and asks the user to confirm permission.

If the user does not agree, the app will not send the audio or transcript for AI processing and will not generate a meeting brief.

Saved briefs

Saved briefs and transcripts are stored on the user’s device. Users can delete individual saved briefs, or clear all saved briefs, inside the app.

Third-party providers

These third-party providers process data on our behalf only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. We use providers that are expected to apply appropriate safeguards and provide the same or equivalent protection for the data they process on our behalf.

Recording responsibility

Users should only record meetings, calls or conversations where they have permission to record. Users are responsible for following the laws and rules that apply to their situation.

Usage limits

MeetBrief AI includes usage limits to protect service availability and prevent abuse. Limits may change as the service is improved.
